Professor Oche is a graduate of the University of Jos (B. Sc. Geography and Planning) and holds a doctorate degree in Geography (Meteorology and Climatology) from the University of Ibadan. His teaching and research areas include Agro-meteorology Climatology Multivariate Analysis and Modelling in Environmental Studies as well as Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Professor has published widely in these research areas and collaborated with distinguished international scholars particularly in South Africa where he taught in Walter Sisulu University of Science and Technology for eleven (11) years and Universities of Uppsala and Linchoping in Sweden. He had a brief teaching service in his State prime University at Makurdi from 2007 to 2012; supervised and graduated students in bachelors masters and Ph. D. Professor Oche had been Head of Department in WSUST (South Africa). BSU (Makurdi) and University of Jos (Jos). Professor Oche is a fellow of academic professional bodies including International Geographical Union Nigerian Meteorological Society and Remote Sensing Soceity of Nigeria as well as editor of journals (national and international) and co-authored books in Geography.
