He is from Gombe State of Nigeria with his qualifications as MBBS (ABU) 1983, FWACP 1992 MACP 2009 etc. He joined the services in the Department in 2013 as a Professor of Medicine as transferred staff from ABU Zaria . He is a Cardiologist by field who teaches all levels of clinical student, he is at the bar of his scale as well as a mentor.
