A. CAREER
Jeno-Mary has 34 years of teaching at the tertiary level;
23 years at the Center for Continuing Education, University of Jos (1989 to 2013);
11 years at the Faculty of Education, University of Jos (2013 — date).
She is a specialist in Communicative English/Grammar,
A researcher, teacher trainer, language/pedagogy consultant providing practical and achievable methods/strategies for ESL teaching. She also provides future teaching professionals with strong professional ethics and practices for successful future and endeavors.
She provides exemplary leadership and mentorship to both students and colleagues with unequalled passion, zeal, enthusiasm and commitment.
She provides convincing research evidence in communicative use of English and Grammar especially in the Nigerian milieu. She teaches and supervises at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and also responds to PG presentations and upgrades.
Jeno-Mary has provided leadership in the Department of Arts Education as Departmental P.G Coordinator, Departmental Examinations Officer, Level Coordinator, Departmental and Faculty Journal Editor, Departmental International Conference Chairman among several others.
She has published over 70 articles, books and other academic collaborations.
B. COMMUNITY SERVICE
Prof. Jeno-Mary Enighe has been a Panelist in several NUC Accreditation and Resource verification Panels.
She was a member of the University of Jos Central Sports Committee; was a guest Lecturer at the World Post-Day celebrated in Jos titled "One World, One Postal Network and the Challenges of the 21st Century".
She has held several positions in the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) such as Vice Chairman, two times Assistant Secretary, Welfare Secretary. She has been a guest presenter and co-presenter on NTA Jos and Ray Power FM, Jos.
She has also been a guest speaker at several speech and prize giving events in Jos.
She is actively involved in christian service, leadership trainings and partnerships.
C. SUMMARY
Prof. Jeno-Mary remains strongly committed to the growth and development of the Nigerian education system through her inspiring contributions to research, professional training, selfless service and of mentoring future teachers.
