
Victoria Lawal is a Professor of Library and Information Science at the University of Jos, Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) degree from the University of Maiduguri, a Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Law and Diplomacy from the University Jos, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Library and Information Science from the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa. Her area of specialization is Information Literacy and Law Librarianship. Among her other areas of research interests are human information behaviour, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), e-learning, legal education and legal research. She has presented and published widely in these areas both locally and internationally.
