BIOGRAPHY: Mieptong Millicent Nianglong was born on the 11th of November in Jos. She started her education at the Tiny Thoughts Private School, Jos from there, she moved to St. Pirans Anglican Church School, Jos where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. She then proceeded to the prestigious St. Louis College, Jos and graduated in 2010. She obtained a Diploma in Computer Assisted Accounting from ECWA Information and Computer Science Institute (now ECWA International College of Technology). In 2012, she gained admission into the Department of Social Science Education, Faculty of Education, University of Jos, where she studied Economics Education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics Education. After graduation, she participated in the one year compulsory NYSC scheme where she served as a teacher in St. Pius Ẍ Academy, Romi, Kaduna State. In her quest for knowledge, she went further to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics Education at the University of Jos where she graduated in 2023. Mieptong was employed as a Graduate Assistant by University of Jos in 2019. She is known for her hard work, dedication to duty and her resolve to mentor young students towards achieving academic excellence through hard work and discipline.
