ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR M.Phil/Ph.D
Admission into the MPhil/Ph.D degree programme shall be opened to Master of Science degree holders with at least overall average of 60% and above, from an approved University in the relevant areas listed above. The Ph.D programme is by research, involving fieldwork, tutorial, seminar, project and an oral examination. However, Ph.D students may be required to take general course such as Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as well as ICT and Research Methodology.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR M.Sc.
For the M.Sc. programmes, a first or good Second Class Honours degree in Geology or any other relevant discipline like civil Engineering, Geophysics or Mining Engineering obtained from an accredited University is required.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR PGD
For the Postgraduate diploma programmes, a candidate should possess an honours degree in Geology or any other related Science/Engineering discipline like Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering.
