ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTERS OF REPRODUCTIVE SCIENCES:
Candidates for the degree of Master of Reproductive Sciences must possess entry requirements of the University for science based disciplines with a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects at school certificate level. They must also have any of the following:

- BSc degree (first class or second class upper division) in related health sciences

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MPHIL/Ph.D OF REPRODUCTIVE SCIENCES:
Candidates for the degree MPHIL/PhD in Reproductive Sciences must possess entry requirements of Master of Reproductive Sciences with a final average score (WSA) of 60% in the final examination.
GENERAL REGULATIONS ON ADMISSIONS

- The general regulations on admissions prescribed in Regulation 1 shall apply except that candidates for admission to the degree of MD
- must have obtained the degree of MBBS of this University, or be confirmed members of staff with equivalent degrees from other Universities recognized by Senate.
- Must either have obtained a higher degree of the faculty of Medical Sciences of this University or a recognized postgraduate professional medical qualification;
- Must have had a minimum of five years post qualification experience in a specialty or in a related specialty;
- Be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria;
- Shall forward to the School of Postgraduate Studies, his full curriculum vitae detailing, among other things, the job content of all appointments held since obtaining MBBS or equivalent degrees;
- Shall provide evidence in writing that he had the benefit of advice of a senior University lecturer of this university in the field covered by the subject of the proposed thesis. Such a lecturer must be acceptable to the Faculty Postgraduate Committee and the Board.
- A candidate shall be admitted to one of the clinical Departments of the faculty of Medical Sciences and shall be registered as a candidate of that Department.
