ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTERS OF SCIENCE (M.SC.) IN ACTUARIAL SCIENCE:
The programme is intended for applicants with minimum of Second Class Lower Division B.Sc. in forensic accounting, fraud examination, accounting or in other programmes with substantial accounting contents such as Business Administration, Banking and Finance, and Actuarial Science. Please note that:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ACTUARIAL SCIENCE
This programme, Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDFAI.) in Forensic Accounting and Investigation, has been designed for candidates from other sciences, who have flare for forensic accounting and fraud investigation, such law, criminology, psychology, sociology, insurance, marketing, and economics who want to enter into forensic accounting profession but due to their background will not meet admission requirement into the Masters. Programme. The programme provides a solid foundation in forensic sciences for future forensics studies.
This programme is intended for applicants with 3rd class degree in forensic accounting, accounting, business administration and banking and finance or applicants with at least 2nd class lower division in law, criminology, psychology, sociology, insurance, marketing, and economics. An upper second class honours or international equivalent is required. The Master's programme in Forensic Accounting is divided into three semesters to run for 18 calendar months and not exceeding four years maximum. Students shall conclude their studies with a Master’s thesis. The Postgraduate Diploma will run for duration of one year and not exceeding three years maximum. Students will also undertake project in forensic accounting, accounting and business studies.
