A pharmacist by training, pharmaceutical scientist by research and an educator by profession with 19 years of experience in assuring quality in pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical research, and development environments for pharmaceuticals and recently, cosmetics. Core skills include quality facilitation, investigating/researching, strong communication and interpersonal skills, good laboratory practice, reporting, presentation skills, executive leadership, problem solving, training, and mentoring. She is a recipient of several awards and grants including the prestigious L’Oreal/UNESCO regional fellowship for women in science in Sub-Saharan Africa, Fulbright African Research Scholar Award, CV Raman International Fellowship for African Researchers, Tetfund National Research Fund (NRF) and Institutional based research (IBR).
