Abigail Ogechi Ukah holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Planning from the prestigious University of Jos. She is currently undergoing a research work in vegetation cover changes and its implications for ecosystem dynamics and conservation planning in Amurum Forest Reserve, in fulfilment of a Masters degree in Environmental Resource Planning from the University of Jos. She specializes in Biogeography, Conservation planning, landuse planning, Tourism and Demography.

Abigail is a member of the Association of Nigerian Geographers and also a member of the Jos Bird Club (JBC).
