- Specialist in English Language Teaching, Teacher Education, Literary Appreciation of the Genres of Literature
- Is a teacher trainer, researcher, resource person/ consultant providing practical and achievable methods and strategies for the teaching of English as a second language and a text editor. Have also spent over 9 years engaging and providing future professional teachers with standard and creative teaching ethics and practices for successful implementation.
- Have providing mentorship and inspirational leadership to colleagues and students at all levels with deep commitment.
- Have guided undergraduate students to use the genres of literature in the effective teaching of English as a second language.
- Have been teaching undergraduate and PG students; and also supervising undergraduate projects, Master dissertation and Ph. D. theses. Have responded to Ph. D. seminars at the Unit, department, Faculty, Upgrading Interviews and Oral Defense (as HOD and Internal Examiner).
- Providing leadership as a the current Head of Department (2023-Date) and held other Departmental and Faculty Responsibilities like, Level Coordinator, Head of Unit , Assistant PG Coordinator, Peer Reviewer of journal articles.
- Published 28 articles in learned journals, book and other collaborations.
- Have been linked to Google scholar and have been cited by other scholars.

- One time visiting Lecturer to Department of English in 2020 (Federal College of Education), other community services include: serving in Academic Staff Union of Universities at various levels, Christian activities, staff adviser National association of Students of English Education, etc.
- Dr. Judith M. Patrick is dogged about the growth and progressive development of the teaching of English as a second language in particular and the Nigerian education system in general through her selfless services in continuous research and professional training of would be teachers.
