ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) PROGRAMME:
To be eligible for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma program, candidates must be first- degree holders in Zoology or any other science related discipline from any recognized University, or holders of HND with minimum of Lower Credit in animal production or animal health.
Entry Requirements for Master`s Program (MSc):
Prospective candidates for MSc (Theriogenology) must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or its equivalent, while those for MSc (Animal health and production) must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Agriculture (B. Agric.) in Animal Science or Animal Production. An applicant must have obtained a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 5 point scale or 2 on a 4 point scale at undergraduate level.
Entry Requirements for Doctorate (MPhil/PhD) Program
Prospective candidates for the Ph.D degree (Theriogenology or Animal Health and Production) program should possess a good Master of Science (MSc) degree in MSc (Theriogenology) or Animal Health and Production, Animal Science or Animal Production as the case may be. Such degrees should must have been obtained from the University of Jos or any recognized University with a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 5 point scale.
