ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTER OF SCIENCE (MSc) PROGRAMME:

- All candidates must possess the undergraduate matriculation requirements of at least five credits (English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics) in Ordinary Level West African Examination Council /NECO or its equivalents in not more than two sittings.
- A first degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized University and should be duly registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria. The candidate must obtain a minimum of Second- class lower division in their fields or related disciplines.
- Holders of FIMLS in any area of specialty in Medical Laboratory Science may be eligible to apply for admission into the programme.
- Holders of AIMLS in any area of specialty in Medical Laboratory Science with minimum of 2 years working experience may be eligible to apply for admission into the programme
- Holders of PGD in Medical Laboratory science (not below CGPA of 2.50) in any area of specialty may be eligible to apply for admission into the MSc programme.
- For MSc in Chemical Pathology/Clinical Biochemistry, candidate must possess at least credit in the under listed subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English, Mathematics. Candidate should possess MBBS degree or its equivalent.

- Candidates who obtained at least a 60% WSA or a GPA of 4.0 in the course work and the research thesis for the MSc in Medical Laboratory Science or any related disciplines from the University of Jos or any other recognized University.
- Candidates with MPhil in Medical Laboratory Science or any related disciplines from any recognized University are also eligible to apply.
