         1. Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science
         2. M.Sc. Computer Science Programme
         3. Mphil/ Ph.D. Computer Science

BASIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

The criteria for admission into the PGD programme will be as follows:

1. 1. 1. 4. Candidates must possess five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
         5. Candidates with Bachelors degree from an approved university must obtain a minimum of pass degree in the relevant science discipline.
         6. Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.

1.2 Duration of Programme

1. 1. 1. 7. Full-time Postgraduate Diploma programme shall run for a minimum of two semesters and a maximum of four semesters.
         8. Part-time Postgraduate Programme shall run for a minimum of four semesters and a maximum of six semesters.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTERS(M.Sc.) OF COMPUTER SCIENCE PROGRAMME

All candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics, Physics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.

Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees from an approved University must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.00 in Computer Science or Related Courses for an academic programme.

Candidates with at least a third class degree or HND and University Postgraduate Diploma a with minimum CGPA of 3.00 or a minimum Weighted Score Average (WSA) of 60% in Computer science may be considered for admission into the academic Master’s degree programme.

BASIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY (Mphil)/ DOCTOR OF PHLOSOPHY (PhD) PROGRAMME:

Candidates for Ph.D. admission must satisfy the following conditions:

1. 1. 1. 9. Candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
         10. Candidates with Bachelors degree from an approved university must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0.
         11. Candidates must have Academic Master’s degree in relevant areas with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 or Weighted Score Average of 60% and thesis score not lower than 60% (B).
         12. Candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.
