ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR M.PHIL/PH.D MANAGEMENT:

Admission into M.Phil/Ph.D Management requires a candidate with good Master of Science Degree in Management/Business Administration with at least an average of ‘B’ grade (60%) which includes course work and research thesis from a recognized University.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTERS (M.Sc) OF MANAGEMENT

The M.Sc. Management programme requires five credit passes including English Mathematics and Economics/Commerce at O' Level shall have obtained. Also, a Bachelor Degree in Business Management/Administration with a minimum of Second class (lower) from a recognized University.

BASIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

The criteria for admission into the MBA program will be as follows:

1. 1. 1. 4. All candidates must have five credit passes including English and Mathematics at the ‘O’ Level, as basic requirement.
         5. Candidates with Bachelors degree in Management, Accounting Marketing Business Administration, Banking and Finance. Actuarial Science and any discipline acceptable to the department from an approved university, and must obtain a minimum of second class lower division.
         6. All candidates must have minimum of one year managerial/administrative experience.
         7. All candidates must have attained a satisfactory level of performance in the university’s admission test and interview.
         8. All candidates must have demonstrated adequate intellectual capacity, professionalism; maturity and effective decision-making and problem solving potentials during the university’s admission test and interview.
         9. Candidates with postgraduate diploma from a recognized university and who have passed with a minimum of upper credit may also be considered for admission provided the university’s matriculation requirements are satisfied.
         10. In processing applications management work experience shall be regarded as a distinct advantage. Candidates are in addition required to pass the MBA Admission Examination which is set by the department at 70% and above.

MPhil/Ph.D MANAGEMENT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Admission shall be open to graduates with good Master of Science degree in Management, MSc Management/MSc Business Administration, with at least an average of B grade (60%) which includes course work and research thesis from a recognized University.
