Dr. Daniel Musa Lenka, a native of Amper, Kanke, Plateau State, Currently a Reader in the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jos, he specializes in Agricultural Economics. Dr. Lenka earned his Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the Odessa Agricultural Institute in Ukraine in 1992, followed by a Ph.D. from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi in 2012. Dr. Lenka's illustrious career includes two decades at the National Root Research Institute Umudike, where he excelled in roles related to potato, ginger, and product development programmes. Notable international engagements include training in The Netherlands, Ethiopia, and Ghana. A prolific contributor, he presented papers at prestigious conferences like the African Potato Association and the International Society for Tropical Root Crops Conference. Dr. Lenka is involved in various professional bodies. His extensive publications cover areas such as production economics, seed production, and marketing, solidifying his impact on the agricultural landscape in Nigeria.
