Dr. Joshua S. Galadima is a Reader in the Dept. of Geography and Planning. He had his Bachelors Degree at ABU Zaria and a Master of Science and PhD in the University of Jos. He is a member of ANG, Soil Science Society of Nigeria and the Nigeria Institute of Soil Science (NISS). His area of specialization is in soils and land use planning.

His research interests has been in the area of organic matter content of soils on the Jos Plateau, use of burnt municipal waste as fertilizer material by dry season farmers, soil fertility maintenance practices of Irish potato farmers among others. He has participated in a number of EIA projects as a consultant He has over 18 publications to his name.
