Abdullahi Babangida Abdullahi is an experienced University and Public Administrator whose area of specialization is Public Information and Records Administration.
With over Twenty-Six (26) years industry experience in University Administration, Public Administration, Public Information Management,
Sports Administration, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Brand Development, Development Administration and Project Management,
he has had extensive working and professional experience in the areas of Educational Administration, Personnel/Human Capital Development,
Records/Information Management, Broadcasting, Media, Client and Logistics Management.
He has at various times worked as a University Administrator, Journalist, Media Adviser, Human Resources Manager and Sports Administrator at local,
State and national levels. He has worked in both Government and Non-Governmental circles, bringing his vast experience to bear in building a
strong relationship profile and assisting several organizations to develop skills in Policy Analysis, Public Information Management, Human Capital Development,
Records Management, Content Analysis, Social Media Engagement, Crisis Communications, Issues Management, Community Liaison,
Events Management and Project Monitoring. Mr Abdullahi holds a Master of Science Degree in Political Economy and Development
Studies from the University of Jos where he also obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science.
He is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree (PhD) programme in Political and Development Communications in the University of Jos.
Mr Abdullahi has worked on several international Projects funded by the World Bank, Carnegie Corporation of New York,
British Broadcasting Corporation and United States Information Service.
He has attended several Training Workshops, Conferences and Courses locally and internationally including programmes on
Strategic and Behavioural Change Communications, University Professional Administration, Records and Data Administration,
Development Planning and Team-building Strategies, Communication Management, Application of Digital Tools for
Enhancing Productivity, Project Administration and Management among many others.
