NOTICE
LINE-UP OF ACTIVITIES MARKING THE 3rd ANNIVERSARY IN OFFICE OF PROFESSOR TANKO ISHAYA AS THE 10TH SUBSTANTIVE VICE CHANCELLOR, UNIVERSITY OF JOS
Members of the University community are hereby invited to participate in the various programmes and activities lined up to commemorate three years in office of Professor Tanko Ishaya FBCS, FNCS who assumed office on 1st December, 2021 as the 10th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos.
The events are scheduled as follows:
- Press Briefing/Media Chat
Date: Thursday, 5th December, 2024
Time: 11.00am
Venue: Senate Chamber, Naraguta Campus
- Football Match
Date: Friday, 6th December, 2024
Time: 2.00 pm
Venue: Football Field by Unijos Primary School, Bauchi Road Campus
- University Christmas Carols/Tree Lighting Ceremony
Date: Friday, 13th December, 2024
Venue & Time: Aliyu Akwe Indoor Theatre, Naraguta Campus (for Christmas Carols)
– 2.00pm
Entrance after the Main Gate, Naraguta Campus (for the Tree Lighting Ceremony) – 5.00pm
All Staff, Students, Alumni and members of the University community are invited to attend the above events marking the 3rd Anniversary of the Vice-Chancellor while celebrating the Yuletide season in a solemn, unique and colourful way.
