ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Entry Qualifications for Postgraduate Diploma in Insurance. Holders of the following qualifications may be considered into the programme of the University

1. 1. 1. 4. First degree of the University of Jos or of any other recognized University with a Third Class in a business discipline or any other field in addition to having credits in English Language, Mathematics and any additional three relevant “O” Level.
         5. A good honours degree (at least second class) in a non-business related discipline from the University of Jos or any other recognised University in addition to relevant “O” level results including Mathematics and English.
         6. Higher National Diploma (at least lower credit) Professional Certification in Insurance and Risk Management is an added advantage

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR M.Sc INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT:

Entry Qualifications for MSc Insurance & Risk Management:

1. 1. 1. 7. First Degree in Insurance from the University of Jos or any other recognized University (at least a second class) in addition to having credits in English Language, Mathematics and any additional three relevant ‘O’ Level.
         8. A good honors degree (at least second class) in a business / non- business related discipline from a recognized university plus a recognized professional Diploma in Insurance and risk management.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MPHIL/Ph.D INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT:

1. 1. 1. 9. All candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and any other three relevant subjects at the ‘O’ Level, as basic requirement.
         10. Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree from an approved university must obtain a minimum of second class lower division.
         11. Candidates must have Academic Master’s Degree in relevant field with CGPA of 3.5 minimum. Candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision-making and problem solving potentials
