Area of Specialization: Special Needs Education (Learning Disabilities)

I, Dr. Sr. Juliana Rotkangmwa Bodang was born in the hilly village of Chigwong in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. Like any other child whose quest is to secure a successful future, l was enrolled for my education where l obtained my Primary Leaving Certificate at the RCM Transferred School, Chigwong and my B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in Special Needs Education (Learning Disabilities) from University of Jos, Jos Nigeria. Upon completion of my M.Ed. degree, l joined the Faculty of Education, University of Jos, where l am currently serving as a Reader in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences. I did enjoy a rich and rewarding professional career spanning more than thirteen years. During the course of this journey, l had the privilege of serving as a Level Coordinator, and also as a Unit Head of Rehabilitation Science as well as Departmental Post Graduate Coordinator. Currently, l am the Head of Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Education, University of Jos, Jos Nigeria. With a background in both general and special education, my research works has appeared in a wide variety of National and International Professional Journals. I have attended local and international conferences, seminars and workshops where l made scholarly presentations.
