Welcome to STAMINA
The Support of Training and Mentoring in Nigeria for Academics (STAMINA) programme is aimed at training and mentoring junior academic faculty in University of Jos (Unijos) and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) in a bid to improve their research ability through engaging in locally based researches that will contribute to human health and foster the next generation of faculty researchers in Nigeria. The programme is supported by the Fogarty International Center (FIC), under the National Institute of Health and is in partnership with Harvard School of Public Health, Boston and Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, Chicago.
MISSION STATEMENT: To make research an integral part in generating sustainable, quality health care by training and mentoring the next generation of African research leaders.
