The Karl Kumm University (KKU), Vom is set to collaborate with the University of Jos towards improving its Human Resource capacity for the attainment of the next level of its development.

Professor Gambo said the visit is to solicit support from Authorities of the University of Jos to allow Karl Kumm University engage some key players from Unijos that will put the right mechanisms in place for their University to stabilize.
The Vice-Chancellor stated that Karl Kumm University requires Visiting and Part-Time Lecturers as well as Lecturers on Sabbatical Leave especially in disciplines where experts are rarely available adding that they have commenced the search for a new Registrar for the Institution and requested the University of Jos to help in the selection process.
Professor Gambo also commiserated with Management of the University of Jos over the unfortunate Fuel Tanker accident that wreaked havoc on the University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Polo Roundabout, Jos.

Professor Ishaya who urged Management of the KKU not to hesitate to ask whenever they require any assistance from Unijos, stated that the growth of the University will not only be beneficial to Plateau State but Nigeria as a whole and even beyond.
While praying for an end to the contentious issues between KKU and its host community, Professor Ishaya noted that the KKU is like a younger sibling of the University of Jos hence the need to give the University the necessary support it needs to succeed.
