Vice-Chancellor, University of Jos, Professor Seddi Sebastian Maimako, has commissioned the newly upgraded University of Jos Health Services Centre. Performing the ceremony, Professor Maimako said “to whom much is given, much is required”, and charged Staff of the Health Centre to live up to the new standard of the health care delivery in the University.
He admonished them to be kind and polite to patients who come to access treatment at the Centre.
The Director, University of Jos Health Services Centre, Dr. Benedict Mairiga, thanked the Vice-Chancellor for ensuring the completion of the project which was initiated but abandoned along the way.
Giving a brief on the extension project, Director of Physical Facilities, University of Jos, Arc.(Mrs.) Halima Auta, said the project was initiated in 2005 and commended the Vice-Chancellor for his uncommon commitment in ensuring the completion of the project.
